What is IELTS
For study, migration and work, it is the world’s most popular English language proficiency test. Take the test on paper or computer, as per your convenience. There are four sections of the IELTS test: listening, reading, writing and speaking. On the basis of your purpose of taking the test, choose IELTS academic or IELTS general training.
IELTS test format
IELTS is a test of four language skills namely listening, writing, reading, and speaking. Reading, listening, and writing tests take place on the same day. On your preferred date and time, you can book a slot for the speaking test.

First, you will listen to four recordings of native English speakers. Next, you will have to answer the questions. |
| IELTS writing test Duration: 60 minutes |
You will have to answer forty questions in this test. |
| IELTS reading test Duration: 60 minutes |
In this test, you will have to complete two tasks and cover topics of general interest. |
| IELTS speaking test Duration: 11-14 minutes |
This test is conducted in three parts. |
